SAVE THE WORLD – Two
Secondo album per i Save The World, la band di Dan Tracey, cantante e polistrumentista che ha collaborato anche con Alan Parsons. Le differenze con “One” (qui recensito), sono ben poche ma forse qui c’è qualche idea in più. Belle le melodie, le parti vocali e il guitar work. “Camera Obscura” ha riff di chitarra che aprono al progressive metal e anche per alcuni momenti tastieristici, ma c’è anche l’hard rock melodico a ricordarci la natura della band e “Bones” che ha un sound più ‘sbarazzino’ e glam e “Miss Muse”, AOR raffinato ed energico. Altri ottimi brani sono “Defenders Of The Faith”, altra ottima song trascinante ma con melodie espressive e “Daphne Blue”, la ballad immancabile. In chiusura “Illuminati” e “Who’s That Girl”, hard rock prorompente e trascinante. I Save The World non salveranno sicuramente il mondo, ma lo renderanno più allegro ed energico.
